Veeru Mewa selected as ‘Global Leader’ by Who’s Who Legal

We are very proud to announce that for the tenth year in a row Veeru Mewa of VictimFirst Advocaten has been named  as a global leader in the category ‘Transport-Aviation Contentious’ by Who’s Who Legal (WWL).

WWL’ s appointment  is based on independent research among clients and peers. Veeru Mewa has been nominated as one of Transport’s highest-ranking lawyers, for inclusion in the 2023 edition of WWL: Transport 2023.

Veeru owes his nomination to his achievements in cases like the Faro crash (1992), the Turkish Airlines crash (2009), the Afriqiyah Airways crash in Tripoli (2010) and the Malaysia Airlines MH17 crash (2014).

Over the past years he also realised significant settlements for clients involved in several smaller airplanes crashes in the Netherlands like Piper Pawnees crashes in 2018 and 2019 and for passengers who got injured in plane and helicopter crashes.

Veeru is the only plaintiff lawyer in the Netherlands mentioned on this highly recommended list of Who is Who Legal since 2014. He thanks his clients and (international) colleagues for recommending him.
